Individual counseling provides a one-on-one atmosphere for individuals seeking guidance in their personal lives. Our clients are provided with an open therapeutic environment to share their challenges, struggles, and achievements. Counseling helps individuals learn how to take control of their lives and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.
Individuals seek therapy for numerous reasons. Often our clients are experiencing some level of emotional or psychological distress. Our goal is to support our clients in achieving the healing and changes they are seeking.
Couples counseling, also known as marriage or relationship counseling, focuses on improving the dynamics between partners.
Family therapy is designed to help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. It focuses on understanding and addressing the dynamics within a family, facilitating healthier relationships, and fostering a supportive home environment. Through family counseling, families can work together to manage and overcome various challenges, leading to stronger and more cohesive relationships
Counseling can support your teen through a variety of issues, such as self-discovery, stress, life events, or mental health issues. Counseling can also be used to prevent minor issues from turning into problems later on. Sometimes, even just a few therapy sessions can make a big difference to your teen’s overall wellbeing. Teens are unique; the problems they have and the way they deal with them are specific to their age group.
We utilize play therapy for children as young as 4 years old. Play is the natural form of communication for children this young, but it can also be used with adolescents in therapy. We use modalities of treatment such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to treat a variety of issues. Adolescents and teenagers also benefit from these types of therapy. Each child is unique, and we strive to meet them where they are in order to provide the best therapy possible.
