WHAT IS ONLINE COUNSELING?

Online Counseling sessions are available. We schedule your appointments using Simple Practice, our online telehealth system. We send you a link and you click, it’s easy, secure, and convenient.

CAN I USE ONLINE THERAPY FROM ANYWHERE?

Yes, you can use online therapy services from anywhere in Texas as long as you have a stable internet connection and are in a private location.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A THERAPIST?
Our therapists accept different insurances and work their own schedules. They also specialize in different areas of treatment. We’ll help you find the right match.
PAYMENT

We take most insurance plans, and we also offer private pay rates

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

You can contact us by phone or email. Our office staff is available to answer your call Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you call outside of those times, please leave us a message and we will return your call.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FIRST APPOINTMENT?

Child Patient:

During the first appointment, also called the intake appointment, you will be asked questions about your child’s early development, current functioning, and presenting problem. It is very important to be as open and honest as possible during the intake as this information will form the foundation of the therapist’s understanding of both your child’s difficulties and the treatment plan. We will also complete a separate intake interview with your child to get a solid sense of his or her experience of the issues and to make sure your child feels fully engaged in the treatment process right from the beginning.

Adult Patient:

During the first appointment, also called the intake appointment, you will be asked questions about your current functioning and presenting problem. It is very important to be as open and honest as possible during the intake as this information will form the foundation of your therapist’s understanding of your individual needs

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?

Counseling sessions are 50 minutes

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR THE INTAKE?

Please bring your:

  • Driver’s License
  • Insurance card
  • List of current medications
  • If you are a divorced parent, please bring a copy of your divorce decree
WHAT ABOUT MISSING SCHOOL?

Children will receive a note for school so the absence does not count against them. Schools treat the absence accordingly.
